Innovative approach for the improvement of educational curricula

According to the tasks mentioned in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.PR-2909 "On Measures for the Further Development of the Higher Education System" dated on April 20, 2017 and also in order to achieve the objectives, set in the Presidential Decree of July 27, 2017 No.PR-3151 "On measures to further expand the participation of industries and economic sectors in improving the quality of training of specialists with higher education", a training seminar was held on the development of a roadmap for improving curricula in economic areas, based on modern approaches, at the Head Scientific and Methodological Center in collaboration with the British Council and the University of Bath (UK) between February 26 - March 2, 2018.

Professors from the University of Bath (England) Stephen Pavelin and Ian Crawford, the faculty staff of Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent Financial Institute, as well as professors and master’s degree students of the Tashkent Institute of Agricultural Irrigation and Mechanization took part in the seminar.

The faculty staff and specialists, participating in the working group, worked out proposals and recommendations for the development of the "Road Map" Concept for the improvement of Educational Curricula in the directions of the economy.
