A round-table discussion on the topic of "The practice, challenges and prospective tasks of the implementation of requirements of modern business education" was hold in the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekist

Being hold on March 15 of this year, the round-table discussion was organized by the Committee of science, education, culture and sports affairs of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Clamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Senators, the representatives of the relevant ministries, state committees, agencies and organizations and their leaders, scientist and experts, the institutions of civil society and mass media participated in the event. The participants of the discussion noted that there is even higher potential for using the opportunities of business education. The speakers gave proposals and recommendations on the need for preparing specialists for the business field by means of higher and secondary special educational establishments.

It was noted that the lack of teachers who have practical knowledge and experience for the system of business education and can conduct lessons taking into account the characteristics of adult audience, is still a big problem. The majority of non-governmental educational institutions do not possess a permanent staff of teachers and the financial state of those institutions does not allow preparing and retraining their own teachers. There is no entire republican system of training, retraining and certificating business trainers.

The bureaucracy elements in the system of licensing non-governmental educational institutions for operating in the field of business education should be reduced. Therefore, the list and the contents of required documents should be made in detail.

It was recommended by the participants of the round-table discussion to completely revise the methodology of examining the trade market in order to organize business education and the need for the staff according to the level of proficiency by specific companies, to make amendments in the national standards of training personnel staff training and re-training requirements and teaching curriculums in the future with the partnership of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the chamber of commerce and industry of Republic of Uzbekistan and other interested ministries and organizations.
