On February 7, 2017 at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education held a meeting with professors of universities in Japan.

First Deputy of Minister Inomzhon Madjidov accepted Professors at Tokyo University, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, International University of Japan (Business Administration), the First University of Nagoya, Yokohama and Hiroshima.

Guests stays in Uzbekistan to conduct interviews with applicants to study in Japan graduate schools.

During the meeting issues related to the provision of scholarships for training JDS staff were discussed for 2017-2018 project year.

The Uzbek side informed the Japanese side on the republic's priorities in the field of higher education for the accounting in the process of interviewing and selecting candidates.

The event was attended by representatives of the Head Office and the Japan Center for International Cooperation (JICE)
